WWI AEF US Army/USMC M1916 Leather Belt Holster for the Colt M1911 45 Pistol - RARE: Marked G&K 1918 w/A.G. Inspector Initals Up for auction is WWI AEF US Army/USMC M1916 Leather Belt Holster for the Colt M1911 45acp Pistol. This is a vintage old military belt holster. It is used, see photo's for Condition. No cracking or repairs. The leather is still soft and very supple. All the stiching is tight and not fraying. All of the hardware is present, it still has the internal leather block. The leather has darkened somewhat with age. It has clearly marked US in an oval logo on the flap and on the rear it is marked G&K 1918 w/A.G. inspector initals. The markings are clear and distinct. This is a very nice example of a WWI holster.
