Very good condition WWI Austrian Mannlicher Steyr M95bayonet that is in original condition, NOT arsenal refinished. Bayonet is marked with the Steyr OEWG trademark on the blade along with a tiny Austrian eagle proof. Blade has original gray metal finish. Remaining metal finish is brown and gray. Wood grips have original finish and a good tight fit, lock button functions fine. Bayonet is unit marked to the 44 th Infantry Regiment on the pommel. Fitted in correct original steel scabbard that has a mostly brown patina with some original apple green paint remaining near the throat. Scabbard has a Hungarian shield proof mark on the frog stud and also marked F.G.G.Y., is free of dents. Tough to find these Great War Austrian Mannlicher bayonets in original condition, will make a great addition to your collection.
