WWI Camouflaged American Model 1917 Helmet. A beautiful example painted in the typical ochre, green, maroon and white "turtle" scheme and decorated with a 42nd "Rainbow" Division and Third Army insignia and the names of prominent American-involved battles including Lorraine, Chateau Thierry, St. Mihiel, Argonne Woods and Champagne. This helmet is American made and is complete with liner and broken chinstrap. Retains approximately 95% camouflage paint. A nice example in very good condition.
