French Adrian helmet, M 1915, used in WWI and WWII in Serbia and Bulgaria This is an original French Adrian helmet, M 1915, used in WWI and WWII . Helmet has an interesting story: it was made in France for Serbian royal army. In WWI Bulgaria fought on the south Serbian positions and captured a quantity of Serbian military equipment. These Adrian helmets made part of it and passed in Bulgarian army. At the beginning of WWII in order to be used by the Air defence and Fire forces, they have been modified. They've been re-novated : the Serbian badge cockade was replaced by Bulgarian smaller one ( on many shells the shadow of the previous badge is still visible) ; liner and chinstraps have been replaced as well. That's how this helmet received WWII Bulgarian liner, made in Military State Factory in the town of Kazanluk, evident from the stamp with "DVF" lettering and the face symbol with a gasmask. The lining is very well preserved. Size 58. The paint here is original but gone on many places. This helmet is really rare find ! Authentic, rich of history item! helmet 372 PAYMENT SHIPPING COST & DELIVERY CONTACT PayPal Bank transfer We ship worldwide.
