Up for bid is a short sword which is unknown to me. Most likely German made. Blade is 23 1/2" long, 1 1/4" wide. Double edged, spear pointed. Edge has some small nicks, nothing serious. Nice patina, with splotchy dark spots. No visible maker marks. Partial leather washer is present. Plated steel guard, ferrule, and backstrap. About 60% plating remains. Wood grip retains cord wrap, but anything else is missing. All is tight. Leather scabbard is very nice, with tight stitching. Steel throat and tip. One tiny cut on one side. otherwise, scabbard body is excellent. Very unique, and interesting sword. Money order or paypal only. US Sales only.
