Vintage U. S. medical caduceus pin. This item was purchased from a scrap dealer who identified it as sterling silver, and although I believe that to be the case I did not want to disturb the patina looking for hallmarks, so we sell this item as is. The letters U S are clearly a silver colored metal and the patina on the rest of the pin looks different. I have not been able to locate this exact pin on the net, anyone who could help it would be greatly appreciated. When I puchased it I was told it was sterling but I found no marking and did not want to disturb the great looking patina on it. That being the case we are selling this item as unidentified as far as metal content. We accept returns if our listing is in error, paypal required and international shipping cost an additional $10.00.
