See the scans. This is a WWI American Boy Scouts Victory Liberty Loan Medal award. It is from the "Victory Loan," which was the last of the five loan campaigns and is properly dated "May 1919." This fine quality medal is hallmarked by the Gorham Co. It is, as illustrated, just under 3" top to bottom. The lot includes two old BSA rank badges that came with the medal, but appear to me to be slightly later pieces (?). They are pinback with open safety catches. The First Class badge is about 1 3/4" top to bottom. Generally excellent condition, the medal planchet is a bit dark, as usual, ribbon original, but shows wear. NO RESERVE !!! I will be listing other interesting American military insignia this week. NOTE: I am very good about getting my orders out promptly, sometimes same day and almost always within 24 hours. However, lately the U.S. postal "service" has been very spotty. In the last several months, I have had first class insured items take over a month to California and two weeks in New York State. Most are delivered in a timely fashion, but a few are not. NEW RULES FOR 2007 - NO OVERSEAS SALES, CANADA AND U.S. ONLY. Sorry about that, but my airmail small packets are being stolen enroute to England and Belgium. ALSO: ALL ITEMS MUST HAVE AT LEAST MINIMUM ($50) INSURANCE. NO EXCEPTIONS UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES!
