Up for auction tonight is a VERY RARE piece of World War I trench art. This gorgeous little snuff box was hand made for someone's sweetheart named "Lily" which is carved on the top. Also carved on the top is the Royal Air Corp RAC wings. On the back is carved "France" and "1918". It is made of copper and what appears to be zinc or nickel. It is in incredible condition. Very little from the RAC has survived ESPECIALLY RAC associated trench art. It measures 3" x 2 1/6". Good luck and feel free to ask any questions.
