AUCTION FOR A:WWI WWII US USMC MARINE M1910 HAVERSACK PACK TAIL- OD#9WWI/WWII US ARMY M1910 Haversack. Standard pack issued to US leg troops in WWI.Marines of the USMC also carried the M1910 haversack. There are slight differences between the USMC haversack and Army Haversack. USMC Haversacks lacked the "US" stamp on the flap. Instead, many were marked "USMC" on the back or inside of the haversack.Also note the brass tips on the end of the suspender straps. They are rectangular opposed to the rounded tabs on Army haversacks.The 100% cotton canvas is the correct weight, the color is a OD#9 olive tan, and the webbing is shuttle loomed.MUSEUM GRADE REPRODUCTION.FROM MAN THE LINE
