WWII USAAF TYPE A-2 FLIGHT JACKET SIZE 40 AERO LEATHER ~ NAMED TO FIGHTER PILOT ~ To my bidders: For years I have done business on eBay using the name: motelbuyer. To check previous feedback please check the eBay name: motelbuyer.This WWII USAAF A-2 was part of a friends lifetime collection that I will be selling over the next few months. It is an original WWII AAF A-2 made by Aero Leather Clothing Co. with a period made/sewn 340th Fighter Squadron patch.This A-2 is the real deal and shows average wear commensurate with its age (see photos). The thick leather shell is of excellent quality and remains supple/durable. The exterior is very solid overall and without issues excepting some minor topical flaking to the collar fold (see photos). Upper left chest area has a period made/sewn 340th Fighter Squadron patch that measures 5.175 inches in diameter (see photos). No other patches or namestrips have ever been sewn to this jacket. Knit cuffs and waistband are later style replacements and are as new with none of the usual small snags or losses (see photos). Zipper run is the original small tooth Conmar that
