See the scans. This is an interesting and 100% genuine WWII Air Force "blood chit" or ransom patch as worn by U.S. flyers in the China-Burma-India theater. If shot down and taken by one of the many different factions of war lords or private citizens, this chit offered to redeem the flyer for money. These come in a number of variations in silk (usually printed), cloth and leather, with various flags and languages used. This is one with the Chinese flag and, I assume some Chinese dialect below. It is nice quality, has bright colors and is about 8 1/2 x 10" size. It looks like it was never sewn on. These were worn either on the inside back of the flight jacket or on the back of the jacket.I will be disposing of a nice old collection of bullion and odd cloth U.S. patches for a friend, so look for those listings on ebay in the next few weeks. This will include some great variations of theater-made U.S. insignia from China-Burma-India, Occupied Japan, the Occupation in Germany, etc.Generally XF. Nice variation. 100% "right." Clean, odor free. Passes the black light test. See the scans. NO RESERVE !!! .NO SHIPPING OUTSIDE OF THE U.S.I have been a full time dealer in militaria for over forty years.
