WWII arctic field jacket in size 38 L. It is used but in better than good condition. T are a few spots on the front and back. The house key in one photo gives the size of the spots. It also has some corrosion on the four buckles used to tighten up the cuffs and sides, however, all are functional. T are no holes or tears. The wool blanket liner is intact without any mothing. The front is closed with a zipper, which works, and a storm flap with all the buttons present. A nice example of the U.S. Army's attempt to create a winter jacket in the late 1930s. These jackets were used in the early part of the war, especially the fighting on the Aleutians Islands. The jackets were matched with a pair of pants lined in the same OD wool blanket material and covered with the same light-green cotton material. T is a size lable, but no quartermaster tag.
