This is a superb find. It is an original 1944 dated TypeA-14 demand oxygen mask. This was a standard issue mask by late 1943 and used through the end of the war. Mask is in unused condition and includes the original issue box and spare parts envelope with extra double snap assemblies, spare snaps and fabric. Instructions are included and with this kit can fit the mask to almost any WWII flying helmet. Mask is complete with hose and end fitting. Strap assembly on the front is soft and supple. The mask body has a few hard spots but displays nicely. This auction is for the mask, spare parts envelope and original box. Flying helmet pictured is for example only and not included. Original oxygen masks are always hard to find. This is a nice example in unused condition. Amazing find. Don’t miss it. Check out my other items !
