WWII US ARMY Fixed Bale Helmet With Rare Hawley Liner! Up for Auction straight out of the woodwork is a WWII Fixed Bale Helmet with the rare first pattern fiber Hawley Liner. Liner is in nice shape, only two small stress fractures on the very edge and some wear to the fabric. Light corrosion to fittings, liner c hinstrap is slightly stiff but complete and unbroken. The Fixed Bale Helmet has nice paint and red stenciled number 372 on front of helmet. Chinstraps are in great shape and complete with brass fittings.
