This is a super condition World War II US Army herringbone twill special shade OD 7 ( spec #45d March 12 1943) JACKET OR SHIRT. This was the standard US Army utility uniform this jacket is in pristine feels like it was never worn or used. None-ZERO of the typical fading that affected these jackets. this design was commonly seen amoung the US forces that operated in Europe after D-day The back collar has the two metal buttons for attaching the anti-gas hood, and along the front buttons inside is the gas flap. the special shade OD 7 was a new darker green shade, also impregnanted with a anti vesicant compund to provide protection from gas attacks. This is a smaller size size 36 measures 18 181/2 inches from armpit to armpit. This jacket is in absolutely perfect un improveable condition shipping is $ 11.50 inside USA and $35.50 anywhere overseas- CANADA slightly less.
