Vintage WWII U.S. Army Back Pack This is a vintage U.S. Army back pack; World War II era. The wood frame is stamped: American Seating Co. 4X-C 5-20-44. (This writing is faded and I could not read all the numbers). Wood frame has some edge wear, a ding in the wood near one of the lacing holes. Front of canvas is stamped: BG-187. Canvas smells a bit musty. Canvas is durable, intact and free of holes. A few areas of the canvas are faded and t are a few marks. T is some rust on the hardware. Pack measures 25" x 15" x 11 1/2". It weighs about 8 lbs. 8 oz. See pictures below. Good Luck Bidding!
