This auction is for a Men's XL (extra large) WWII US Army Rangers Combat Training School Reproduction T shirt. If you want a different size, please make a comment on your order, or send us an email with the size you want. This PT shirt is screened by hand and variation in colors naturally occur as they did during WWII. This U.S. Army Rangers Combat Training School PT shirt is a reproduction of an original WWII design. The shirt says U.S. Army Rangers Combat Training School. Due to our many requests to carry a Ranger T shirt, we watched several de-classified Ranger training films, and could not find any evidence of an authorized PT shirt, most likely due to the top-secret aspect of the Ranger program. However, we did find use of the Rangers logo on a piece of WWII-era letterhead, and was able to create a reenactor appropriate t-shirt based on this design. During WWII, athletic style t shirts were available for purchase at the PX and were commonly used in training and athletic situations. PT shirts with a variety of different unit logos are well documented in many WWII photographs. Just like the original t shirts, this reproduction is 100% cotton with a period correct narrow 5/8" neck, shorter sleeves and a slim/snug fit. These WWII Reproductions are true to size.
