Very nice WWII era wool jacket used by an enlisted Infantryman in the 77th Infantry Division. The left sleeve has his division insignia alo ng with two overseas stripes showing 12 month service overseas and one enlistment stripe showing the sold ier re enlisted. The right shoulder shows his prior service with the 27th Infantry Division. The right lapel has the enlisted pressed brass "US" disk and the left lapel has a matching p ressed brass Infantry branch pin. The OD wool is overall in great shape and the only defect of note is a sm all hol e under the left chest pocket. All the buttons are in place and tightly sewn. The jacket is marked size 40R and has a production date of April 1945. The pi ctures show the jacket the winning bidder will receive, so you can judge the quality and condition for yourself.
