This is a vintage empty World War 2 WWII long Military green painted tool box. The inside has a paper tag marked "LOCATION CONTENTS QUANTITY" on top with a list under each. They include Bags Canvas Nail, File, Hammer, Handle, Hatchet, Kit Tool Canvas M-1921, Pliers, Rule, Saw, Screwdriver, Shears, Square, Wrench, and Roll tool canvas for Chisels carpenter's and wheelwright's. Next to each tool named is a description. Next is "Pocket No." and "Contents of Roll" "Chisel Machinist's" Chisels Wood worker's" and description. The bottom right of tag is marked "AMERICAN FORK AND HOE COMPANY Geneva, Ohio 1942. The box is made of 7/8 " thick wood with reinforced metal corners, hinges, hasp for lock and chain to keep the cover from opening all the way. The ends have indented metal carry handles. It measures 30" long, 8" high and 7" deep on the outside. It is used with scratches, edge wear, and some stains. T are 9 pictures for viewing.
