Manufactured by Cattaraugus. The model 225q was designed foruse by the US special forces. With a very stout blade measuring approximately 6inches. Leather handle with a checkered pommel. The knife came with a leather scabbard ( poor condition ) This is an estate find-No noticable pitting ,still as found and with some Tlc this would rate a 8 out of 10 -This knife is in one of the best conditions I have ever seen--All OFFERS CONSIDERED--THIS KNIFE IN THIS CONDITION IS VERY RARE. This knife has not been polished ,cut down as others seen ,original Patin a ,with the high carbon steel--There are minor scratches than can be buffed out ,barely seen with the naked eye.
