WWII US CATTARAUGUS 225q fighting knife. These sturdy knives were designed specifically for quartermaster use. Heavy thick blades for opening crates and checkered thick pommels for banging nails although the pommel on this is in great shape. No nicks on blade edge. Excellent shape, lightly used, w/6 1/8" blade. VERY light sharpening w/good clean edge and some minor scratches. Bright finish is about 90%. The markings are clear. Guard is tight, leather grip is in very good shape. Original leather sheath is also very good. dagger, bowie, airborne, soldier, knife. Posted with eBay Mobile
