WWII German Long Dress Bayonet, Scabbard and Frog. Bayonet has maker mark firm of "F.W. Holler Solingen" on reverse ricasso with the Holler "Thermometer" logo. Blade is nickel plated and polished, nice and bright. Blade has no sharpening marks or plating loss, stright and true with no abuse and is pit/chip free with the usual in/out marks. Nickel plated hilt with working mortise button. Some fine lifting of plating around button from use.Brown leather washer guard intact and in good condition. Scabbard has original black paint and rates 98% and is ding/dent free with ball 100% perfect. Black grip plates are the checkered style made from bakelite and are nice and tight and secured with steel rivets. Grips are crack/chip free.Original patent leather single rivet frog is intact and in very good condition with stitching still nice and tight and together. Very nice example of WWII German Long Dress Bayonet.
