This is a WWII German Military Junghan's Clock. Rumor has it these were clock watches used with exact timing so the German's would know when to launch thier bombs espcially at night. The story we received when we got this was this came from a German Messerschmitt 109 Airplane.Condition: The outer dial turns both left and right. The lever that you pull down to set the main clock works, and when you pull the lever out the main dial turns the clock turns both right and left just like a watch. When the lever is in the locked position, and I turn the main dial that turns the hand/minute hands it winds up just like a toy, then I press the button down and the second hand begins to tick like normal and then if I push the button down the second hand stops. To me, this means this apparatus is in working condition. However, it should be noted that I do NOT know how to opperate this device. So, PLEASE send me questions if you are a potential bidder. I have not yet learned how to operate the small dial inside that has a 10 and 5 present. SOLD AS IS. UPDATE: Cranked up the timer playing with it and it ticked for 30minutes and a little longer until the windup power ticked down. Now, once the windup power dies down it will stop. Also, the small dial on the inside that I described as "not working" is working. It moves just fine I just don't know read more
