Unissued 1943 pattern breakaway style holster of pebble grained black leather. Has extra magazine pouch, metal closure finial, and sewn belt loops. Reverse has large "P.38" stamped designation and "cxb / 4" maker's stamp indicating manufacture in 1944 by Joseph Moll of Goch. Part of a cache of original WWII German holsters captured by the Soviets at the end of WWII, in storage ever since just waiting to be discovered by collectors! Leather remains in good pliable condition with normal scuffs and light storage wear, appears never to have been fitted to a pistol. Good condition.
