This original WWII Japanese military sake cup (along with many others) was bought directly from a Japanese collection in Japan many years ago and at that time a translation and explanation accompanied each piece detailing exactly what it honored or celebrated such as a death, medal, deployment, promotion, etc. Unfortunately; the paperwork has been lost so we can’t tell you exactly what this one was for. But we can tell you it’s authentic and in excellent condition with no chips or cracks, 2-3/16” diameter and 1-1/4” high. Please excuse the lighting reflections in the photos.
