WWII LUFTWAFFE JG 54 FIGHTER ACE HUGO BROCH SIGNED 8" X 10" BLACK AND WHITE PHOTOGRAPH Hugo Broch WWII 1940-1945 Luftwaffe Ace Pilot 81 Victories in 324 combat missions on the Eastern Front and Courland Picket. Served in the JG 54 8./Jagdgeschwader 54, German Knights Cross Recipient March 12th, 1945. His score includes 12 double victory days and three triple victory days, also included are 18 Il2 Sturmovic's Broch was awarded the Riterkreuz (Knights Cross) on March 12th, 1945. Mr. Broch was posted to II./JG54 on Jan. 6th, 1943, on the Russian front. From this unit he was transferred to 6./JG54 and on March 13th, 1943, Broch shot down his first confirmed Russian aircraft. Settling in on the Eastern front, By Aug. 28th, He had scored his 20th victory, and received the Ehrenpokal on Oct. 27th, 1943. On Nov. 26th, Unteroffizier Broch received the Deutsches Kreuz in Gold with his Victory total near 30. Broch served as a fighter instructor from winter until June 1944. In August 1944, He returned to Combat duty and was re-assigned to 6./JG54, Where by the end of 1944 his victory total stood at 71.
