Found this item in a large lot of military surplus items I purchased at a estate auction...The tag attached to the item says it is a US WWII M1 Carbine Strap (1943)....I am not sure if this is correct...I am going strictly off the tag attached to the strap. I have no reason to believe it its not what it says as I have not found any items yet where the tag does not accurately describe the item. I have taken many photos so please view them all and you can see for yourself what I have here. The only markings on the belt are F-S CO 1943. The strap measures 42'' long when the end is snapped closed.
