TWO ORIGINAL WWII US M1 HELMET LINERS ONE SEAMAN PAPER COMPANY & ONE FIRSTONE FIRESTONE ALL ORIGINAL - SEAMAN IS REPAINTEDPLEASE READ ENTIRE DESCRIPTION This "BUY IT NOW" Sale is for TWO Original World War Two US M1 Helmet liners. One is an EARLY WWII RARE Seaman Paper Company and One is a MID-WAR All Original Firestone with a Crack to the Crown. The Firestone is the Mid-WWII Style with Light OD Webbing, Anodized Brass "A" Rivets and a Grommet to the front for placing an insignia. The webbing is EXCELLENT and shows almost no age or wear and very minimal staining. There is a partial service number written to the front section of webbing. There is a semi-circular CRACK to the upper portion of the crown that is visible int he photos. The exterior maintains approximately 30 to 40 percent of its original finish. This liner would look good placed in a helmet as the crack would not be readily visible in a helmet and with a sweatband in place. This is the helmet on the right in the photos.The liner on the LEFT in the photos is a Rare Seaman Paper Company liner with an excellent condition shell and very good condition webbing. It has been REPAINTED. However, when placed inside a helmet it would appear completely original. It would also be an excellent candidate for restoring back to its original style finish.
