HELMET: Up for auction is a WWII FRONT SEAM (Made by McCord )D-bale. Has dark OD Paint and its original cork texture. The M-2 Khakichinstraps and early cast brass hardware have been aged and weatd. The markings of the 82nd Airborne Division "HH" (Headquarters) & 82nd patch were painted by hand, Then aged and detailed to look WWII Authentic. Includes a WWII OD Drawstring helmet net. HELMET LINER: This is a WWII era FIRESTONE Liner (stamped F 1) is complete with all you see: Khaki HBT webbing, Steel A-washers, Khaki A-yokes w/wire buckles, Aged leather chamois lined chincup, Khaki sweatband with OD clips, Leather chinstrap w/OD hardware and a Khaki nape strap. All parts are aged to look like a combat worn liner, But all pieces are in good used condition. Perfect for your collections. "The Steel Pot and Liner shell are in USED condition. This liner does have 2 small splits in it as you can see in the pictures, but still solid as a rock. Also the soldiers name "BAILEY" is original to the liner. All the tarnished hardware and rusted washers were handled by Mother Nature, not chemicals.
