WWII Navy Amphibian Commando Uniform Wool Gaberdine Vintage blue gaberdine wool navy uniform, bell bottom pants and top. I believe that this is the man's custom uniform, probably made by a tailor. His other uniform is also on the auction as are his work blues. So take a look at them all. Gaberdine is a much finer, smoother wool I believe. Very well made. The pants are in excellent condition, other than t is a small hole in the apron of the pants, about the size of a quarter and one broken button. T are two Navy patches on the left sleeve. One is second class motor machinist mate. The other is 1944 Navy Amphibian Commando. One red hash mark for 4 years service. T is gold oriental scroll work and inside the back of the shirt it's - in the shape of an anchor. 13 buttons on the flap. The shirt from armpit to armpit is about 20". The bottom hem edge is 18" across, Sleeve inseam is about 21 1/2", Inseam of pants leg about 33". Waist is about 32". Could stand to be cleaned. MD buyer pays 6% sales tax.
