You are looking at WWII US Navy Binoculars 6x42 with Original Case. They are marked a product of "Square D Company" Flushing New York. Other markings are: WIDE FIELD / BU AERO. U.S. NAVY / MARK 43 / STOCK NO. R58-B-308. The original case is also included and is in good condition. One leather piece that holds the neck strap is torn but repairable, (see pics). Neck strap on actual binoculars and on case are both in great shape and attached. Lenses seem to be very clean and in excellent working condition. These things will make a great collectors piece and are fully functional at the same time. I'm having a hard time not keeping them myself. I have priced this item to sell with NO RESERVE! Please contact me with any questions. Thanks for looking. UPDATE : Due to the high volume of questions and concerns about this item i am adding the following information: I have inspected the lenses through a bright light and see no scratches, chips or damage, minus a little dirt in the right lens which I'm sure can be cleaned out. Overall, I can't see these things getting any cleaner! The lenses are still "tinted". The adjustment dials turn smooth and focus seems to work properly, although I am not an expert on optics or binoculars. The front of lid to case has a small amount of separation where stitches are, but nothing significant. (see pics)...Item is being sold as is. I will always work with my highest bidder on reasonable requests (see return policy), if they are not satisfied with item. I hope this helps and
