Please read: Recently, I have been having people pay for their items with multiple Paypal payments in one week. This is happening because they are not waiting until all the week’s auctions end before making their payments. This is costing me extra Paypal fees. I am offering free shipping for all purchases to help save bidders money. I hope that you will wait to pay until all of your items are on one payment to save me money. The Patch: This auction is for One WWII Original 14th Air Force patch with a white back. This patch is in good condition. It has a very nice white backing. This patch does not glow under the UV light and is guaranteed to be authentic. 14th Air Force patches are very desirable and are getting harder to find. Don't lose out on your opportunity to own this great piece of World War II history The History: The 14th Air Force was activated on March 10, 1943 at Kunming , China and replaced the China Air Task Force which was organized by Major General Claire Chennault of the "Flying Tigers" fame. The 14th Air Force waged a war of attrition against the Japanese much like the famous Flying Tigers. The 14th Air Forced faced long supply lines to the United States but was able to continue attacking Japanese air and naval forces in the China Burma India Theater. Aircraft from the 14th Bombed targets such as Formosa and Myitkyina. They forces ships from the safe coastal waters to more open waters prowled by Allied submarines. They provided protection for B-29 air bases in India and created diversions to draw the Japanese away from the Luzon and Okinawa landings. The 14th Air Force was inactivated in January of 1946 after participating in 3 campaigns. Please read my auction requirements. I have changed them based upon feedback and ratings received. International shipping is free for all orders totaling less than $50.00. International Orders totaling over $50.00 must be sent registered mail. Registered mail starts at $13.00, depending upon how many patches are in the order, and includes tracking and insurance. PLEASE WAIT FOR MY INVOICE TO PAY FOR YOUR AUCTIONS. If you pay with multiple paypal payments for your items, they will be returned and you will have to send payment after you receive my invoice. If you pay with multiple paypal payments, I will get charged multiple fees. I ship items out within four days of receiving your payment. I do try to check daily to see who has paid to try to get things out quickly, but will always try to make a mailing on Saturdays and Tuesdays Payment must be received within 10 days of the end of the auction. I will usually allow this to happen if you see something you want to bid on that is ending the following week, but I won't combine more than two weeks of auctions because I have had problems with non payment in the past.
