The Patch: This auction is for One World War II Vintage Kiska Task Force patch with a white back. This is the light blue and silver variation of this patch. This patch has been used and is in good condition. It has a very nice white backing. This patch does not glow under the UV light and is guaranteed to be authentic. Kiska Task Force patches are very desirable and are getting harder to find. Don't lose out on your opportunity to own this great piece of World War II history. The History: The Kiska task force was a unite made up to invade the Island of Kiska in the Aleutians Islands chain. The island was occupied by japan along with Attu in 1942. The force, also known as Allied Task Force 9 was made up of the 1st Special Service Force. They invaded on August 15th, 1943, but found that the Japanese had left the island. This patch was approved for local use only and some photos show that it was worn on both sleeves. Please read my auction requirements. I have changed them based upon feedback and ratings received.
