HERE IS AN ORIGINAL WORLD WAR TWO Late war grey zinc Silver washed "OSTVOLK" Eastern People's Medal of Merit. The award is in nice condition overall, although the zinc has pulled in the silver wash to the bottom point . Given to both Germans and the Ostvolk. These decorations were equal to either an Iron Cross or War Merit Cross 1st Class. Apparently the only WW2 German medal without the Reich Insignia to it Becoming increasingly hard to find.
