Original US helmet liner, refurbished. WWII Westinghouse manufacture liner, completely rebuilt with shuttle loomed OD #3 (khaki) HBT webbing and Type IA 5/8" A-yokes. Snaps and rivets are Scovil brand: one of the original wartime manufacturers. Correct for use in M2 and M-1C paratrooper helmets. Sweatband, chin cup and leather chin strap are exact reproductions. Hardware is made by the Anchor company.Liners may be raw (as in photo) or painted olive drab depending on the original finish. The liner in this auction comes complete, ready to drop into the helmet. Sweatband, chin cup and chin strap ARE included. Age/ Condition: Although we use new components, these liners are all at least 61 years old. If you are striving for laser straight perfection, please go away. Most liners will show some evidence of their age. Scuffs, small cracks, or graffiti (names and service numbers) may be present.
