This auction is for a WWII patriotic cover. This colorful cachet of ship, tank, eagle and Statue of Liberty reads, "Liberty Above All-For All." The CDS is for October 18, 1946. A United Press news article of the same date is summarized on the cover. The original article is enclosed with the cover. The article tells of the suicide of Hermann Goering. The cover is in sound condition, though there are some marks and toning.The back shows discoloration from the envelope glue. Please examine the scans before bidding. Thank you.
