WWII Production 1st Variant Tangent Sight & Slotted Hi Power Pistol (P.640b) 9mm, 4.75" barrel, S/N 82048 . Blued finish, checkered wood grips. 500 meter tangent rear sight, grip slotted for stock. Standard Belgian markings, matching numbers, {Eagle} proofs, {Eagle}/WaA103 inspections. Includes one aluminum follower, "split tail" magazine marked R on the spine and one with a weak {Eagle}/WaA140 inspection.Condition: Very good. Retains some blue which is worn and faded and is blending with bluish-gray patina. Markings remain clear, mechanically functional, very good bore is lightly frosted with some oxidation. Grips with some scattered bumps and dings.Provenance: From the Collection of Charlie Hinton
