This auction is for a Pillow Cover dated between 1941 to 1944 from Camp Hood Texas. This Cover bears the U. S. Army Tank Destroyer Unit's Insignia: "Seek Strike Destroy", with a Black Panther holding a tank in his jaws.It is 16 1/2 by 18 inches in size without counting the fringe that is 1 1/2 inches on all four sides, thus making it a size of 19 1/2 by 21 inches. There are no permanent creases, stains, moth holes, fading, or tears, and it has never been sewn closed to use as a pillow. S. Army Tank Destroyer Unit was active from 1941 to 1944, then phased out and the name Camp Hood was changed to Fort Hood in April of 1950.The first 6 pictures were taken with a camera and the last read more
