--RARE FIND-- ORIGINAL WWII TYPE F-1 ELECTRIC HEATED PILOT'S SUIT --also known as the "blue bunny" This is an original heated flight suit that began issue in 1940. The tag reads: "SUIT, PILOTS CAT.NO. PA 16 F3 (ELECTRICALLY HEATED 24 VOLTS D.C.) TYPE F-1 SIZE-40 SPECIFICATIONNO. 94 - 3112 ORDER NO. W535 - AC27402 There is also a white tag attached below the embroidered tag with the number: 632361 The shoulders measure app. 18" across, the sleeves are app. 22" in length, the length from the bottom of the collar to the bottom of the crotch is app. 32" and the overall length is app. 59" not including the collar or cuffs. The external connectors to accept electricity have been removed from this suit and are missing. There is moderate to minimal wear to the blue material and the knit cuffs as seen in the photos and overall I would judge the material to be in good condition. There is a small tear of app. 3" on the inside liner on the right side as visible in the pictures. This is directly behind where the external connection for the electrical wires would be to the outside of the suit. The external connectors on the suit have been removed are not with the suit.
