Up for bid is a perfect example of a WWII U.S. Army Officer's Uniform. It includes the Chocolate Tunic, Pink Pants, Shirt, Tie, Belt, and a Chocolate Overseas Cap. (The mannequin is not included.) This uniform is from a Re-Enactor that had it made up in the 82nd Airborne configuration. The items do not have size tags in them but t are Tailoring tags as shown in the pictures. The Tunic was tailored by Hart Schaffner & Marx out of New York and measures 17 inches across from shoulder to shoulder, 23" from the shoulder seam to the bottom of the cuff, lying flat it has a 34 inch waist, 40 inch chest, and is 29 inches long from the collar seam to the bottom of the tunic. It has U.S. and Infantry Collar Insignia, CIB, Campaign Ribbons and Jump Wings, 82nd Airborne Shoulder Patch, Captains Bars and Fourragere. The Pink Pants are Army Officer's Trousers and measure 31 inches at the waist with a 31 1/2 inch inseam and 1 3/4 inch hem that could be let out. It also has 1 1/2 inches that could be let out at the waist. The Shirt was tailored by Coronet and measures Shoulder to Shoulder 17 inches, Sleeve length from the shoulder seam to the bottom of the cuff 27 inches, chest 48 inches, waist is 43 inches and the neck is 15 1/2 inches. It also has the collar insignia. The Overseas Cap is a size 7 1/8 and was made by Louisville Cap Company and has read more
