Up for auction is a nice WWII enlisted army tunic. The tunic is in very nice condition. Has the earlier felt on felt chevrons of a sergeant. Also has a nice raw edge 1st Armored Division patch. The sterling marked CIB is in very good condition. This one has the scarce armored infantry (tank over crossed rifles) insignia for branch of service. This is a screw post insignia and is earlier. The marksmanship badge and rifle bar are sterling. The other bars appear to be of a potmetal material, which could be theatre made and would be correct for Italy. The overseas stripes appear to be a bevo type of weave and again, I think this would be correct for Italy. I have no information on this tunic other than what it is. Pictures pretty much tell all, but feel free to email with any questions or requirements.
