WWII US Army/USMC M3 Leather Shoulder Holster for Colt M1911/M1911A1 Pistol Marked US Boyt 43 - Excellent Condition Up for auction is WWII US Army/USMC M3 Leather Shoulder Holster for the Colt M1911/M1911A1 Pistol. This holster is in Excellent Condition. The leather is soft and supple. It is NOT oil soaked. The leather has darkened somewhat with age, but still retain the majority of it's original brown color. A veteran had carved his name and serial number on the rear of the holster. The is marked "U.S. Boyt 43" on the rear. The markings are well defined and easy to read. Please see the last photo for the markings. All stiching is intact and not frying. The shoulder strap is Excellent Condition with NO surface cracks. All the retention strap and lift the dot fasteners are in good functional condition. Boyt Dated M3 holsters are Rare to find anymore. Don't let this one get away. US M3 Shoulder Holsters are getting more difficult to find in good solid condition without a lot damage from use and abuse over the years. is you chance to pickup an Example with Readable Markings which has aged with Character deserving of a WWII Veteran.
