it is and in great condition. This vintage US M3 Fighting Knife with original scabbard is in excellent condition minus two leather bands missing from handle. The blade is sharp and is incised - US M3 RC CO. The handle also is in nice shape minus the 2 bands (the rest are intact). The sheath/scabbard is original and in superior condtion (the metal, cloth, and snap). It is marked US M8 B&M Co. (the last one I saw on ebay, with no knife sold for $66, and that didn't have the original 6" long leather coiled tag/tail that this scabbard has retained). The knife measures 12 inches long. This came straight from my father-in-law's collection. Please check out some of the WWI and WWII knives I listed earlier in the week, they end New Year's Day.
