Good condition and guaranteed original WWII USMC Hospital Corpsman knife that is maker marked VILLAGE BLACKSMITH on the left side of the blade along with U.S.M.C. Blade has brown and gray metal finish with some areas of pitting. Has been sharpened and top false edge has a crack. Wood grips have original finish and a good tight fit with some normal handling marks. Fitted in a unique wooden scabbard that is probably theater made. Sheath has nice looking finish and no damage. Nice red painted eagle on the front and features two brass rings at the throat for a should strap. A scarce Village Blacksmith Corpsman knife that will make a nice addition to your collection.
