You are bidding on a WWII Vintage USMilitary Ford GP GPW Jeep Moore 12” Tool Kit Wrench Cleaned, ready for use, display or show Great Condition I believe this is the correct and was the standard issue wrench for the Ford GPW Military Jeep tool kit’s as the 12" adjustable wrench. This wrench may have been also used for the other Military Jeeps as the Willys MB during the era. This is a 12" adjustable wrench made by the Moore Drop Forging Tool Company . Moore was one of the major companies that supplied tools for Ford, even since the Ford Model T’s. I believe the Moore Drop Forging Company was one of the manufacturers of tools for the Ford Military Jeeps and maybe other military vehicles. Note the tool layout on the last photo for the Ford GPW Jeeps the adjustable wrench appears as the Moore 12” I believe this to be the same wrench as the Federal stock # 41-W-449, Willys # A-377, Ford # GP-17021. The wrench is embossed on the handle MOORE 12”, and weighs approx. 2 lbs. The wrench is 12" long, the jaw opens to 3 1/16", and has a 1 1/2” deep throat. The handle end is straight and is approx. .390 to .406 or 13/32” thick and 1.040 to 1.050 or 1 3/64” wide, and the handle should easily go into the 7/16" x 1 1/16” dim. cut out in the hub socket wrench.
