You are bidding on what I believe to be as a WWII Willys MB Ford GPW Jeep Dodge CCKW WC Shovel LATE TO POST WAR, CLEAN, AMES ?, SOME OD PAINT STILL INTACT I believe this is a correct shovel for the late to post World War II Jeeps, and other military vehicles as the WC and UKCW, and CCKW We are not 100% for sure, but believe this is a Ames shovel, can’t see any ID markings on the D-handle, maybe be covered up with OD paint or surface rust….. Shovel is stamped HEAT TREATED as most Ames were. The shovel has the round point blade and is 37 1/4 in overall length, (some references has the different shovels range, at least 34” long and others from 38 3/8” to 41 3/8”, I’m not sure which or what the length exactly should be?). The shovel is the open back style, I believe type II, has correct (2) rivets on d-handle socket, as per GGG -S-111-10, figure 9 The blade measuring across top is 9” wide, and the shovel
