WWII "Winged Boot" Order of Flying Boot escape and evade downed pilot pin. Great authentic US Army Air Corps Order of the Winged Boot or "Order of The Flying Boot" pin. this looks like a botton or collar piece that slipped into a button hole. Unmarked back, unknown composition, two circle hooks to pop on the lapel or button hole. These were jokingly given to downed pilots who escaped to friendly lines in Europe and the Pacific. unofficial but well documented.
