WWII WHEAT PENNY STEEL - 1943 ONLY Year Minted!We are offering these 20 "Steel" Wheat Pennies from 1943. They were only produced for one year due to the need to conserve copper during World War II. These coins were minted with a Zinc coating over the steel. Unlike other sellers we do try to pull all heavily corroded coins out. You may receive some with some rust but for the most part they should be relatively rust free making them very collectible. These Steel pennies were only minted for one year!
