Incredible 50s/60s space age dining set Here is a fantastic pair of original 50s E Gomme chairs. A great example of space age design. They feature the classic 'butterfly backs' . The colour is fabulous! The chairs are in black and cream with a wooden ‘ butterfly ’ back . The shape is very reminiscent of Eames design. Overall they are in very good restored condition. However, the seats have not been recovered and there is a little damage as pictured. My local upholsterer offered qouted £15 to recover them. they have a very rockabilly feel. This is space age design at its best. Original mid century furniture like this is becoming rare and original e gomme chairs are like gold dust so grab a bargain while you can!!! These a must for the vintage lover and retro home!!! Collection or courier TBA by buyer. I recommend putting it on Shipley to get quotes from couriers. each chair measures 80cm x 45cm x 45cm Check out my other items (all pictures for sale)
