Xtrakit 1/72 XK72005 Gloster Meteor T Mk 7 The Meteor was the first jet fighter in the RAF, entering service in 1944. The improved Mk III soon followed. They were in action against V-1's and ground targets. The Meteor was developed after the war into the Mk 4 and the Mk 8, which amongst other improvements had more powerful engines. The T Mk 7 was a 2 seat trainer, based on the Mk 4. They were used by the RAF,FAA, RAAF, RCAF plus the air forces of Belgium, Brazil, Egypt, France, Israel, Holland and Syria. Xtrakit are a brand from well known UK retail outlet. The kit is actually made by Czech firm MPM and is injection moulded plastic and is well detailed with engraved panel lines.
